Creativity Academies (CA) is a partnership between DBEDT, KCC, the DOE and various individuals, organizations and businesses from creative and scientific industries. In the ideal flow between players, DBEDT’s creative industries
efforts are supported by KCC’s New Media Arts program which is in
turn setting the standards for middle and high school Career Path-
ways in communications. The rotating group of industry partners
might include production houses, science writers, digital artists and
master teachers. CA’s curriculum in technology, art, and physics
forms the infrastructure for knowledge, ideas, critique, and opportunity to circulate.
